Have you been affected by or know of someone affected by the conditions in the Cross-Lines Retirement Center?
We have recently become aware of the terrible living conditions at the Cross-Lines Retirement Center in Kansas City.
The 200 tenants there are all above the age of 62 or have disabilities and are contending with constant flooding, bed bugs, mice, and cockroaches to say the least. The management company of the complex has been sued for taking shortcuts regarding upkeep of the property. However, it seems there is a very black-and-white fate for the residents there: Either the management company gets the property fixed or the property is shut down, leaving its vulnerable residents to find a new home. At Bell Law, we want you to know you have rights and remedies available to you – even against large, powerful companies.
